'You Scum' Shouts Angry Woman as evicted Travellers move from Oxhey Park, Watford leave rubbish

A female resident came out as we were filming the departure of the many caravans at Eastbury Road, Oxhey.
The video shows them coming onto the road leaving the green, but left behind boxes of rubbish.
Suddenly I hear shouting, it is a woman who lives opposite who is very angry at the travellers leaving their rubbish as usual.

A small clear up was needed and our partners Veolia have restored the area to its previous state.

Watford Borough Council is consulting with residents about putting up New Barriers after travellers continue to set up camp in Oxhey Park.

Oxhey ward cllr Peter Taylor said: “There have been big improvements in Oxhey Park in recent years.

“It got the highest mark out of the town's eight green flag parks this year. We can't allow it to be spoilt in this way and will be taking action to prevent it happening again.”

Cllr Taylor said the council is deciding on the type of barrier or fence to use. So far, around 250 residents have taken part in the consultation.
