Thieves stole Jewellery during house burglary in Bricket Wood

Officers investigating a burglary in Bricket Wood have released images of several pieces of jewellery that were stolen.Appeal following burglary in Bricket Wood

 

The incident happened in Oakwood Road between 11.45am and 12.55pm on Monday, November 7.

 

Offender(s) gained entry to the property by smashing a side window. They searched several rooms before taking a quantity of cash and several items of jewellery.

 

This included a pearl earring and necklace set, a gold cross on a gold chain, a gold necklace and a long pearl necklace.

 

Detective Constable Rhys Tom, who is investigating, said: “The elderly victim is devastated that her sentimental jewellery has been stolen and the burglary has made her feel unsafe in her own home.”

 

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between the times stated who may have seen something suspicious to please come forward and talk to me.”

 

“I would also like to hear from you if you are offered jewellery for sale which matches the items described.”
