APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING BURGLARY IN HEMEL

Thieves stole Jewellery during house burglary in Hemel Hempstead

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Butts End, Hemel Hempstead, in which numerous items of jewellery were taken.

Between 12.20pm and 2.20pm on Friday November 18, an offender or offenders broke into a house on the road before searching the property.

They made off with numerous items including e-readers, x-box games, and various items of jewellery including a silver christening bracelet with engraved words on it. One item was a distinctive 18 carat gold charm bracelet which officers investigating the offence are releasing as part of the investigation.

DC Katherine Stevens, from the Hemel Hempstead Local Crime Unit, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who recognises this bracelet or who may have been offered it for sale in suspicious circumstances recently. Your information may be vital to tracking down the people responsible for this break in.
