A man threatened commuters with a large knife at Railway Station [Jailed: Duval Evans]

Police are linking the two weapon incidents as the same man.

 

Officers investigating an affray in South Oxhey are appealing for information and witnesses.

 

On Friday September 22 :

At approximately 6.43am, a man in possession of a large knife at Carpenders Park Railway Station, approached members of the public in a threatening manner.

 

5 Minutes later at approximately 6.48am, there was an altercation between two men on Prestwick Road involving weapons.

 

PC David Patton, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for any members of the public who were approached by or saw the man with the knife at Carpenders Park Railway Station and also any witnesses who saw the incident on Prestwick Road.  Please get in touch as you may have information that could assist the investigation.”
