Mayor Dorothy stood down and now Peter Taylor has been Elected Mayor of Watford.

Baroness Dorothy Thornhill MBE, Watford Mayor News

born 26 May 1955 is the first directly elected mayor of Watford since May 2002, and was re-elected in 2006, 2010, and 2014.

Thornhill was assistant head teacher at Queens' School in Bushey.

Thornhill was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2011 Birthday Honours.

The Watford Band played a few tunes, then the Mayor Dorothy gave a speech before introducing Paul Rabbitts who is the Bandstand Geek who then gave his talk.
Milly Soo followed with her Jazz band whilst JiveSwing dancers partied with the audience enjoying the day.
